A product is not just its finished state.

At Laubali, we believe that the value of a design lies not only in the final object produced but also in the process followed to achieve that object.
Everything begins with an observation, a need, or a simple idea. Ideas transform into sketches, sketches into models, and models into prototypes. This process is not always linear. Measurements change, materials are tested, details are rethought; some ideas are abandoned, while others evolve through trial and error to reach their final form.

We don't see this process as the invisible part of design. On the contrary, we believe that understanding why a product looks the way it does, how it works, and how it is produced is part of the relationship formed with that product. Therefore, at Laubali, we attach importance to making not only the finished product visible but also the idea, the sketch, the prototype, the trials, the material, and the production. We want to share how a part is shaped, how wood is processed, how metal is bent, and how the design continues to evolve during production.

Because for us, design is not a process that begins with sketching an idea and ends with sending it to production. It is a continuously evolving journey between idea and production.
